COVID-19 Disinfection and Safety Course

BSCAI COVID-19 Disinfection & Safety Course/Certificate

Learn how to protect your employees and reassure your customers by earning the COVID-19 Disinfection & Safety Certificate from BSCAI. This course offers individual training designed expressly for frontline cleaners to supplement training related to worker safety and routine disinfection techniques with a specific focus on COVID-19. To meet the needs of the commercial cleaning community, the COVID-19 Disinfection & Safety Course is now available in Spanish! If you are a frontline cleaner or part of a janitorial staff, cleaning supervisor, operations manager, site supervisor, facility maintenance staff or property manager, this course provides relevant, timely training ideally suited to today’s market.

Unlike other programs that claim to focus on front-line cleaners, BSCAI understands the training needs of the commercial cleaning and facility services contractors. This three-hour course costs just $30 per student for BSCAI member companies and does not expire or require any continuing education credits to maintain.

Show your customers that you have invested in your employee safety and training on CDC, EPA and OSHA guidelines related to routine disinfection for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases that could threaten occupant health and safety, which is more important now than ever.

BSCAI developed this comprehensive course in conjunction with Stephen Ashkin, a world-renown expert in the janitorial industry and a veteran trainer. This course has passed rigorous contractor peer review and has the technical accuracy to meet the expectation of your customers and the practical training that your employees expect from you. Unlike supplier training programs, BSCAI's COVID-19 Disinfection & Safety Certificate is brand agnostic and works with your systems regardless of suppliers, equipment or type of facility cleaned.

United States Green Building Council Approved
This course meets the requirements of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Pilot Credit (Safety First: Cleaning and Disinfecting Your Space) for training. You can help your clients achieve and maintain their LEED Rating by making this training investment in your employees.
