This spring, BSCAI held another successful in-person Executive Management Conference, gathering more than 400 industry professionals in Championsgate, Florida, from April 25-27. The event marked an opportunity for leaders to take time to invest in their growth and the development of their teams.
Tailored specifically to the needs of building service contractor (BSC) executives, the event featured four mainstage presentations focused on embracing the mindset of a business disruptor, leadership that balances well-being, leading a high performing team and the critical importance of first impressions.
The program lineup included sessions led by Caleb Campbell, West Point graduate, former Army Officer and former NFL player; Rob Cilia, 3M national account manager; Dryden Dennis, solutions consultant at Aspire Software; Michael Diamond, CBSE, director of strategic accounts at Affineco, LLC dba Pritchard Industries; Gerald Fong, CEO and cofounder of BrightGo; Sylive di Giusto, CSP, keynote speaker and author; Olon Hyde, CBSE, president at Office Pride of Pensacola; Brad Madewell, president of Clean All Services; Mike Maddock, entrepreneur, keynote speaker and writer; and Jamie Turner, author, professor, consultant and TV news contributor.
Breakout sessions gave attendees the option to tailor their learning experience to their interests, with topics ranging from elevating customer retention and satisfaction to solutions that reduce costs, getting started with artificial intelligence, ways to leverage data-driven insights, practices for building team culture and tips for growing your finance team.
After a day packed with educational opportunities, the following day kicked off with a suite of networking roundtables. Several options were available for attendees to choose from as they moved around the room, including topics focused on managing a diverse workforce, supporting the next generation, strategies to improve productivity and more.
With a strong turnout and positive response from attendees, BSCAI is looking forward to continuing the conversation at its 2024 Contracting Success Conference, taking place November 19-21 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
“The Executive Management Conference in Florida was once again another BSCAI event that pulled together the best and the brightest in our industry,” said Greg Buchner, President/CEO at Clean Office/Porter Plus. Buchner was chair of the event, playing a role in supporting its success. “Our attendees were treated to a lineup of speakers who challenged our minds and left us motivated and excited to raise our games to the next level. Special thanks to our sponsors and industry partners whose contributions helped make this possible. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Vegas!”
