As building service contractors continues to diversify their portfolio of services, we see increased activity of companies coming together, either through partnership of M&A (merger and acquisition) activity.
Two announcements this month from ATALIAN underscore this trend. The company announced Centaur Building Services, a family owned facility services company, will be joining its growing presence in the US. In addition, the company announced the acquisition of Suburban Integrated Facilities Resources.
In particular, the acquisition of Suburban represents ATALIAN’S third in the U.S. after its parent company, ATALIAN Group, made its foray into the US in 2016 with the merger of Temco Services Industries, Inc. and then Aetna Integrated Services, Inc. in May 2017.
ATALIAN Global Services, Inc., the US division of ATALIAN Group, provides facility services to companies in 30 countries on four continents. This family-owned company serves more than 25,000 customers, providing them with services that allows these customers to outsource most management of support functions, such as facilities management, cleaning, technical maintenance and energy management, security, reception and landscaping.
