BSCAI’s Executive Management Conference is just around the corner! This conference will take place in an interactive forum ideal for collaboration and business-focused education. In between education sessions on topics like leadership and employee management, attendees will be able to network with fellow industry leaders as well as top vendors and suppliers in the BSC sector.
Will you be in Louisville next month to participate in this premier event? If so, here are three things you should be looking forward to:
1. Keynote: Leadership Is a Contact Sport, Daron Roberts
If you’re a football fan, you definitely don’t want to miss this keynote. Daron Roberts is a former NFL coach who spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns. He also coached at West Virginia University. These days, he works as the founding director at the Center for Sports Leadership and Innovation at the University of Texas, his alma mater.
In his talk, Roberts will discuss the importance of leadership. He posits leadership as a team sport, just like football, and encourages attendees to question whether they are transactional or transformational leaders. Come for the engaging education and content, stay for the mix of stories about Roberts’ NFL career, research and real-world experiences to propel your team toward purpose and growth.
Leadership Is a Contact Sport will take place on Friday, April 22 from 2:15-3:30 p.m. Eastern.
2. Exploring Exhibits and Networking With Vendors
Throughout Executive Management Conference, you’ll have the opportunity to check out exhibits and network with industry vendors. If you can’t make the two-hour exhibit showing on the show floor Thursday night, never fear — the exhibits will be back for over three hours on Friday!
Then, on Saturday morning, enjoy over an hour of vendor sessions along with breakfast. Don’t miss out on these windows to check out exhibits and chat with vendors in between other education and networking opportunities!
3. The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory Tour
Calling all baseball fans! Attendees have the option of participating in the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory Tour on Thursday afternoon. For just $45 per person, participants will get a front-row look at the extraordinary role Louisville Slugger bats have played in baseball’s past, present and future.
In addition to touring the bat factory and following the timber from forest to diamond, participants will also get to visit galleries at the museum, peruse memorabilia and check out engaging interactive exhibits. With Major League Baseball still in a lockout and the start of the season delayed, this is your chance to get a taste of the American Pastime in April.
The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory Tour will take place on Thursday, April 21 from 1-3:15 p.m. Eastern.
